Another option for fat, lazy and tasteless folks…

I’ve always though the entire Segway concept was flawed – sure the newer ones go at a reasonable speed but generally they’ve been all about replacing walking – in this day and age with vast increases in the number of people classified as obese – the last thing we need is yet more ways to get away from exercising.

News this weekend that Toyota has launched its own people movers – the Winglet series. They only travel around 4mph which is about what one walks on a good day so their utility is laziness – pure and simple.

Not only that but you look a dweeb riding one… sheesh I mean look at this video – it’s not really got an iota of sex appeal does it….

    It needs a drink and donut holder with ipod integration. Pretty soon we won’t need legs! Then we’ll evolve to just torso’s!
