I’m a social computing evangelist, I’ve also been known to bang my head against brick walls in an effort to explain the “point” of social computing to corporates.

Over at Smoothspan, Bob posted this excellent post looking at CxO’s failure to understand social computing and to throw the concept back to champions in terms of “show me the money”.

Bob suggests some questions that marketing departments can ask themselevs in order to change from a reactionary to a proactive social computing stance.

The question that still remains in my head is whether corporates will actually get it – if they’re not too busy self justifying to  be sufficiently insulated to miss the entire social computing revolution.

Vive la small business I say – agility rules!
