And I thought Geoff was already as hyper as humanly possible.

Founder of 42below and uber marketing guru, Geoff Ross has taken a “substantial, equity stake in hyperfactory. The hyperfactory is a technology/marketing company currently known for it’s mobile advertising work. Geoff Ross is a marketer extraordinaire and no doubt they’ve got some good tech people on board so it will be interesting to see what new innovations they come up with.

Hyperfactory currently has offices in New York, Auckland, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Hong Kong and India so they’re well spread. Some of the consortium who did this deal have good international connections so I guess there will be a two-prong approach;

  • increase the penetration of what they currently do using the new capital injection and connected parties
  • develop some cool new functionality in this rapidly changing space

It’ll be interesting to see how things develop….
