As I’ve commented in the IdeaLog blog, Israel would be a good model for NZ to look at. It’s a country similarly lacking in natural resources and is isolated geographically and politically from it’s markets yet manages to incubate start-ups and drag them up at a rate of knots.

Stef Wertheimer should be a model for those of our entrepreneurs who have made it and have wads of cash to utilise – what he created at Tefen among other places is legendary.

Ahhhhh what New Zealand could become given commonality of vision and purpose between governments, businesses, educational institutions and society.
