With a hat tip to Zoli for the tip, news that someone has created a hardware/software solution to creating a VoIP enabled phone out of the iPod touch.

  • The iPod touch is pretty amazing. Easy to jailbreak. More apps every day. Intuitive interface, bright screen and vivid colours. The wifi is as cool as ice. I’ve got a shell and an SSH server going. Apache is there. VoIP – why not?

    AT&T were/are simply a stepping-stone for Jobs.
