This is cool, Samsung has developed a product, the See’N’Search, which is a set-top box that that is able to read the closed captions on a television show, as well as listens for keywords, to search for related Internet articles to the content you are currently watching.

So if I’m watching, say, Nip’N’Tuck (bear in mind that I don’t have a TV and only know about Nip N Tuck third hand). Links to sites about plastic surgery and other related things would appear on the bottom of the screen (OK – I’ll be the first to admit that was a ghastly example – but you get the idea).

It’s all about inviting search into more than just our computers and having it appear how and when we want it.
