DSCF6424Everyone knows that professional conference goers like myself attend events not to listen to presentations, not to network but to collect schwag. Over the past couple of years I’ve done fairly well collecting tech t-shirts and I decided to create a weekly series critiquing tech companies t-shirt offerings in the expectation that a company with  a great t-shirt is a prime candidate to have a great product also. Click here to see the series.

Recently I spent an intense two weeks of highly concentrated t-shirt gathering event attendance in the Bay area and Denver. At the Google IO conference I was accosted by someone on a booth who offered me an MSpot T shirt in return for hearing her pitch.

I duly listened and can’t really tell you what MSpot does – something about streaming iTunes to Android from the cloud – a model that seems destined to be disintermediated by native Android functionality long before it gets any traction.

In the meantime, I got a nice T Shirt out of it… 😉

Hot

  • 100% cotton
  • Made in the USA
  • American Apparel – ethical manufacturing and Kiwi owned!

Not

  • I fear I’ll be wearing the shirt of a company in the deadpool sometime very soon
