I stand (well sit actually but you get the gist) in disbelief.
A scum of the earth, benefit using and abusing and long term Housing NZ tenant family has refused to move following their eviction. Further, Housing NZ tells us that the matriarch of the family is allegedly ill and as such the family has been given a week’s reprieve from having to vacate the house.
This is political correctness gone mad – this building houses gang members, criminals and persons reportedly guilty of terrorising the neighbourhood.
In another time, in another country they’d have been taken out and shot at dawn long ago. While a return to capital punishment is not on the cards it’s truly difficult to see how anyone can argue that the pendulum has swung a great deal too far to the PC side of things.
