  • Ah, such a short clip. It always sounded more emphatic in my head.

    This is from the early days of Shortland Street, a NZ soap opera par excellance. Well, it has its moments anyway, but it was quite crap to begin with. The idealistic Dr Ropata had returned from being overseas in a Guatemalan clinic (a la Médecins Sans Frontières), and matron Judy (or whatever her name/title was) was pulling him back into line.

    Well, I seem to have killed that joke.
