Its disappointingly rare in New Zealand to have CEOs front up and talk to industry commentators (or consumers even). Smaller software company CEOs tend to be prepared to do it (this blog has hosted conversations with the CEOs of iPayroll, Xero, Groupswim, ProWorkflow among other) but it’s rare for bigger businesses.

I was well impressed to read this morning that Geekzone is hosting the CEO of TelstraClear, Dr Allan Freeth and CEO of Orcon Scott Bartlett.

These two CEOs are taking part in a forum where questions can be submitted by the community.

Well done to Geekzone for hosting the exchange and well done to these two CEOs for fronting up – lets hope others follow their lead. It’s a great way to prove openess and show preparadness to face the tough questions.
