For the third year running, Paul Miller and myself are consulting to VentureBeat and helping craft a conference agenda devoid of the usual vendor pitches and in their place full of real world customer stories. Having been on a number of scoping calls with cloud customers, I’m really excited at the breadth and depth of sessions that we’re juggling – it makes a conference organizers life super hard, but an attendees experience super valuable.

The list of speakers at the event is incredibly extensive – while there are some big name vendor execs to talk about the industry, there are also some big name (and some lesser known) end-user organizations that are going to bring their learnings to the event.

The event is being held September 9/10 in San Francisco – and I’m pleased to offer readers a discounted registration code – click here for the discount.

The overarching theme for this year is “The Cloud Grows Up” – the conversations we’ve already had behind the scenes that beyond a nice catch phrase, this is really happening – CloudBeat is going to showcase that increasing maturity.

Hopefully I’ll see some of you there!
