As you’ll notice, I’ve shifted my blog to my own domain. I spent a bit of time hunting around for someone to host the site and finally decided on a local (well only an hour away) ISP – freeparking, a South Island based ISP.
I had a bit of trouble at first, trying to get wordpress all set up on the domain – setting up a MySQL database and all the fiddly stuff that goes with that. I can happily report that freeparking went above and beyond the call of duty.
They were super helpful and totally understanding of a slightly geeky non-geek.
So thanks guys and keep up the good work!
