Brian Gaynor wrote this editorial about the original “kiwisaver” scheme with some ideas about where NZ would be today if it hadn’t been curtailed early by the Prime Minister of the time Robert Muldoon.

If his contentions are correct it is yet another poor legacy left my Muldoon.
