I started my technology journey reading Bits and Bytes magazine some 25 years ago or more.

Despite a brief hiatus there has been a consistent movement down this path, with a related growth that, in my mind at least, follows Moore’s Law of increasing capacity.

Next week sees the next inflection point in that journey. As I mentioned I started with Bits and Bytes and have progressed through my first computer (A Sinclair ZX81 for those in the know) with RAM measured in kilobytes (actually it was 1KB but I digress). I then remember the exciting point of reaching attainable personal computers with a MB of ram. Given this logarithmic trend it seems entirely appropriate where I’ll begin writing next week.

And that, my friends, is my (admittedly not overly cryptic) teaser for this week. See y’all on the other side!
