Short and sweet since I’ve been awake for almost 24 hours. News just to hand that Citrix has acquired Podio (much more on them here) for an undisclosed sum. Citrix is promising that nothing will change for this most innovative of companies and I certainly hope that’s true – Podio has been one of my “companies to watch” for awhile now.
To the team at Podio – congrats, you’ve built an awesome product in a short space of time. To Citrix – please let Podio continue to be awesome.
The synergies make sense – Podio gets a quick exit and the resource to execute faster while Citrix gets another tool to add to its growing GoTo stable. Watch this space.
