Adobe stated at the web 2.0 summit hat it figures that within 10 years all of its products will be delivered via the web (ie SaaS as I define it – in the clouds).

Bob discussed the practicalities – bandwidth, compression requirements etc etc – and pretty much said that 10 years should see it achieved no sweat. He also pointed out that the bigger challenge than the technical ones are the business model paradigm shifts (ie execution is key). I agree and the announcement at the summit is one of the first steps in changing that very business paradigm.
