I’m giving new Telecom CEO Paul Renolds the benefit of the doubt – he’s an international player with a tonne of experience and if anyone can pull Telecom out of it’s mire (well I reckon I could help a fair bit but the board never asked me) it’s probably him.

I have to give him 10/10 for this piece of spin yesterday – one would almost thing separation was all part of the long term strategy. Nice job Paul but I think Telco commentators here and elsewhere are a little more aware of the situation than that.
