I’m far from the first to post about this but check out this vid….

CEO of Google talks about lots of small size, virally spread, cloud living apps that can run on anything – PC or mobile phone or ?

Obviously SaaS is just the beginning – think SaaS meets Facebook apps meets the Tamagotchi. It’s a completely different model, and one that the old school tech enterprises will find it hard to stay profitable in.

Just one question – in this model the browser becomes the medium through which apps are delivered – where does this leave traditional operating systems? Out in the cold I would have thought. Think dumb terminals running a web browser and lots of little cloud living apps that work together as per the owners requirements.
