NZI suggests FibreCo

Leading on from The Unresonablemen’s post yesterday suggesting mobile might be a solution to New Zealand’s broadband woes, the New Zealand Institute today released part three of its broadband Strategy. Part three is entitled Delivering on the Broadband Aspiration.

The report moots the possibility of the creation of a mandated monopoly price-regulated holder of the fibre access network over the last mile.
