It’s outside of my usual area on interest I know but this stumbled over my desk the other day. ASUS are making a motherboard with an embedded operatng system, web browser and VoIP client.

Solves the concerns about remote access and corruption of the software and makes for some really quick boot times.

I’ve posted before about embedded OS and browsers for portable devices – seems like this ASUS deal could be a good option for ultra portables?
