I just got an email from Facebook that said;

Hello,

You have been sending harassing messages to other users. This is a violation of Facebook’s Terms of Use. Among other things, messages that are hateful, threatening, or obscene are not allowed. Continued misuse of Facebook’s features could result in your account being disabled. If you have any questions or concerns, you can visit our FAQ page at http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page=35.

The Facebook Team

WTF? Please visit my Facebook profile and correct me if I’m wrong in asserting it as the tamest personal profile in existence. Is it spam, some unusual phishing attack or Facebook getting a little sideways on us?

Who knows?

Update – I got this email from Facebook which says…. well almost nothing really

  • You will probably find out those drones don’t even check your profile before shooting at you… It happens even here in good old New Zealand…

  • I’ve noted many of my contacts either staying with Linkedin or moving over to Linkedin from facebook. In common, I’d estimate they are too busy doing what they’re doing to play with facebook. Mind you, ownership of televisions amongst them is pretty low too …
