Xero posts – pro, anti and hyperbolic….

I’ve just had a trawl and see there is lot of posting happening at the moment about the Xero IPO.

This is understandable given the people involved and the time since the last IT IPO here in New Zealand.

Reading some of the posts however it has been a bit perturbing seeing the comments – some have bordered on vitriolic.

At the end of the day I’m sure we all hope someone in NZ comes up with a world beating SME accounting package – whether it’s Xero, 1place or MYOB doesn’t really matter. Maybe I’m being a little naive given the money and reputational value at stake here but can’t we all just learn to get along………
