I just read this article which is quite upbeat on the chances of new Telecom CEO Paul Reynolds being able to turn the telco around.
British telco analyst Mike Cansfield believes Reynolds will prove more open, more clearly strategic and more collaborative with Telecom’s competition and the regulatory authorities than his predecessor, Theresa Gattung.
He certainly has a challenge up in front of him; operational separation, local loop unbundling, naked DSL and increased competition are all conspiring to begin toppling the monster that is Telecom.
